Brian Heimowitz
The Founder and Portfolio Manager of Birchwood Capital Management LLC, an investment management and consulting firm focused on alternative investments. Prior to founding Birchwood Brian was with Crystal Capital Partners, an alternative investments platform for 7 years, most recently as it's Chief Investment Officer. In his role as Chief Investment Officer, Brian oversaw the firm's due diligence program for all new and existing investments. This included sourcing and qualifying new opportunities across the alternative investment universe as well as leading the firm's quarterly investment committee. On the portfolio management side, Brian helped the firm's clients construct and rebalance portfolios based upon their objectives and risk tolerances. Brian graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance. He is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations. Brian serves as a Chapter Executive for the CAIA Miami Chapter.
